The workplace is increasingly complicated, with employees working in teams and groups. Diversity on a number of dimensions including age, gender, and ethnicity adds to the complexity and extent of nonproductive conflict. This course will introduce the basics of interest-based negotiation and mediation that EAPs, supervisors and managers can use to create a more civil and productive workplace. The course will benefit anyone who supervises others or who works in groups or teams. The crucial role of the EAP is to act as a resource for training and consultation. |
